DIY stand

Postby lil-reefer991 » Thu Jan 24, 2013 4:58 pm

New Stand that I built. I just didn't have the room for all my equipment. It's also big enough for a future upgrade. Front panel is removable for easy access. Primer and paint tomorrow. Stand is 8' x 40" by 44" tall. I built it tall enough so people didn't have to bend down to look into tank. Built entirely by 2x6 and 3\4 plywood. Going to be painted an antique white color. It's so heavy it takes 2 people to move it. Way to over built but ill sleep better at night.

This is a nice stand... It looks antique yet new. Not sure how you pulled that off.

It looks great. Not needing to bend down to look in the tank will be nice.

I'm impressed with all the DIY skills on this forum.

Hello Adam, I really love the look of the stand you built. What size tank is currently on the stand? I would love to build something that looks like that but cannot find any plans if you will online for anything like that, do you have any plans etc for building it?

He downsized so I think he is using stand as a bar. I know he spent some money on it but who knows he might be willing to sell it
