Postby spartman » Tue Jul 30, 2013 4:12 pm

want to buy some hatching eggs from a fellow near Des Moines and I thought if someone were heading that way I could have em pick em up for me and hopefully stress the eggs less.

Thanks..

I am kind of in that area, I am in waterloo, it would be a couple hours out of the way but I can see what I can do. If they could meet in say cedar falls or waterloo it would be much easier to pull off

Guess he isnt able to send any eggs.

had a rouge rooster break into his hens and it will be at least 3 weeks until he can offer "pure" eggs again.

By that time I might as well wait till spring. I dont think it would be wise to put chicks outside in a coop at the beginning of Oct.

Soooooooooo..........

Maybe in the spring??

I will have to see where I am working then. When freeze hits, I could be anywhere from Alaska to Grand Caymin Island
