Garden solution...

Postby domination2580 » Mon Jul 27, 2015 8:01 pm

I have a garden that is producing a lot of products but bugs seems to be eating a decent portion....what can I do or put on them to keep bugs and worms away but still be edible?ImageImageImage

I use seven dust on mine. Usually one application and is good for the ready of the year. Sometimes you need two. It'll look weird because it's a white powder and the whole garden will be white but it'll wash away with a couple waterings.

Good luck with that one. Birds love fruits. I actually have to put a screen over my raspberries when they fruit. Best luck I've had is by putting feeders out so they eat that instead but even that isn't perfect. I hear a fake owl works too but I've never tried it.

How big is your garden? I'm starting to get overwhelmed with early harvest. Maybe we could trade some stuff

Well I've got about 10 pumpkin plants, like 8 cucumber plants, 6 watermelon plants, 6 straw berry plants, 4 tomato plants, and 4 rows of sweet corn

I would take some pumpkins. I have cucumbers, kale, 3 kinds of tomatoes, celery, jalapenos, and my asparagus has gone to seed so I have seeds, dill, raspberries and strawberries.
