Idea for website

Postby Railcar79 » Thu Nov 07, 2013 8:43 am

I know that many of us have buys work schedules, and can not make it to some club events. I was wondering if we could tape the speaker events, and post them so everyone can learn from the events even if they can't attend. Posting in a members only area, or even a SFAAS YouTube channel. Not only can people who missed the event get in on the event, but the info would be there to reference later.

I kind of like this idea myself. I'm not sure on recording logistics and I would imagine we would have to obtain permission from the speakers to record their information. Not sure what kind of posting would be required to prevent the people attending from suing for being inadvertently recorded...might be a hassle.
Live, laugh, love every day. That chance could be gone any minute.

Sffas YouTube channel sounds simplistic to me

I have some other ideas on this too but will bring them up in the future
A balanced tank is a happy tank! :)

I know the Iowa club does this in some regions. Mainly speaker events and the annual business meeting. If it is addressed long enough ahead of schedule, I am sure that the people who wish to not be on film can be accommodated. I have been looking into LED and a video from the led meet would be helpful, along with some of the info from the Fellman talk on aquascaping.
