Welcome! I what are you looking for far as equipment yet? I have some pumps, lights and other misc. Where are you located?

I live in sioux falls and set up I'm working on is a 55 gal display. 29 gal sump refug. A 20 gal long frag tank. I have a off brand 750 gph pump for return, a diy counter current protein skimmer using a power head, 2x 200 watt heaters, air pump. 4 bulb 48 t5 with built in timer, I will be getting a 24 two bulb t5 for frag tank. Not sure if that's going to enough though. Im still looking for live rock and sand. And any advice or pointers I've been reading for months and there so much info out there its hard for me to determine whats important.

Sounds like a good start.
The 29g sounds like the perfect size for a sump.
That 20g frag tank will be invaluable for QT'n livestock and frags.

Have you been doing any research on the livestock you want to add?

Almost exactly what I used to run. Any thoughts to stocking? Stock list dictates what all you need. Kerney had a Jebao wp10 twin setup cheap, for circulation, they would work great for a 55.
