Hi all my name is Stan and I'm a fishaholic
Just got back into the hobby bout a year ago. Thought I was cured of the addiction but you know how it goes! Years ago I was up to 29 tanks set up at one time and am hoping I don't go that far this time . right now my interests are all freshwater, but there are random thoughts of salty stuff. Currently have a 60 set up in the living room and a 15 in the basement and a good lead on a 125. Really enjoy the interaction of fish in a community type set up but may try my hand at some breeding again.

Welcome. I would seriously go salt water...much easier in my opinion.

I believe the saltwater thing would be enjoyable but currently my checkbook has a shortage of zeros to put behind the price of all salty things.

Usually people on here give a great price on things...a few friends of mine started me off with a 55 fowlr tank. In the next month I'm taking on the project of installing a 125 reef tank. I'll be using my 55 for the sump and it will take me a bit but if I come across a tank cheap I'll let you know. Salt costs 55$ for reef chrystals and 45$ instant ocean salt...but I would suggest fowlr first. So reef crystals would be best. I've only changed my water once in the past 3 months...so it doesn't take a ton of care. But that's after you get your water cycle down. Rodi water only costs about 1$ a gallon. Lrs fish food from wichers costs around 27$ and then the lighting. Rocks for you in Mitchell is working on getting led s in for lights and only going to charge around 100$ a panel .
