VHO t5 or LED

Which would you say is better... will probably only ever be FOWLR, but we all know how that goes. My 10G is beautiful with 40 watt 50/50 compact fluorescent, but I only keep mushrooms, palys and a small leather under it (which is growing quite large from when it was fragged.) Might as well just get a good light now and call it done.
Metal Halide is not an option as they get too hot and it will melt the plastic brace in the tank. (Been there done that, ugh).

I use Chinese LED's in my biocube and they work great. Everything grows and is happy. Shadowing can be annoying when I think about it but not too bad. My next tank will be a combo of LED and T5 I think

I ordered a 48 inch marineland LED light. It'll go on a 55 gallon tank. There is enough lights on it that it shouldn't cause too much shadowing.... I have very little on my smaller tank. That has 40 watts of CFL and my stuff grows great there too.
I'm excited to get this tank going. I've never had one this large before.
